ARC's Rapid Response Team (RRT)

The RRT is a roster of experienced personnel who may be called for short-term humanitarian/emergency assignments. The roster is comprised of current and former ARC staff, as well as other qualified external candidates, both volunteers and consultants. RRT specialists must able to be deployed quickly (in some cases within 72 hours) in response to emergency needs and/or new program start-up, and remain at the response site for up to 2 months.

RRT specialists can also be considered for permanent positions beyond the initial two-month period in the case of new program start-ups.

We accept applications for the following positions on a rolling basis:

  • Emergency Response Coordinators
  • Administration and Finance Officers
  • Primary/Emergency Health Coordinators
  • Logistics/Operations Coordinators
  • Shelter/Construction Engineers
  • Water/Sanitation Engineers
  • Security Coordinators
  • Grant Writers/Managers

The selection process for the RRT, which includes reference checks, a background check and an interview, is done on a rolling basis.
